keep the dog but upgrade to Studio - It's fun [when it works] not so much fun when it crashes though

I did upgrade to V8, found at least 50 problems with it, complained to Apple a lot, then went back to V7 Classic Logic (The last Emagic version before Apple tried to turn it into Garage Band)

You are not alone, Many people went back to 7 and thousands complained and thousands are still complaining. We used to use the Apple Discussion Forums and even ended up being ranked in the top 5 for Garageband and Logic because we helped so many users out. Those forums have thousands of threads that may have already added up to millions across the board and that is a reflection of how bad apple products are. We have never seen so many problems on a manufacturers website. It's global chaos with a nation of unhappy mac users.

I commented to Apple "Logic 7 wasn't broken why try to fix it? Logic Studio (Version 8) is definitely broken in lots of places".
I have been training students on Pro Sound Engineering courses for a number of years and I have advised the ones that have contacted me to stay with V7. The PC cracked version 5 is more functional than Logic Studio.
